Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TigerIdentity's continuous identity platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
TigerIdentity provides a continuous identity platform that enables organizations to implement dynamic, context-aware authorization for humans, non-human identities, and AI agents. The Service includes:
- Identity fabric for unified identity management
- Policy engine for access control
- CAEP hub for real-time security events
- Connectors for identity source integration
- Dashboard and APIs for administration
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your users comply with these Terms
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to store or transmit malware
- Exceed rate limits or abuse API endpoints
- Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization
5. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your Customer Data
- Not access Customer Data except as necessary to provide support
- Implement appropriate security measures
- Return or delete Customer Data upon termination
6. Service Level Agreement
For paid plans, we commit to 99.9% monthly uptime. If we fail to meet this commitment, you may be eligible for service credits as described in our SLA documentation. The SLA excludes scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Fees and Payment
Fees are based on your selected plan and usage. You agree to:
- Pay all fees according to your billing cycle
- Provide accurate billing information
- Accept that fees are non-refundable except as stated
- Acknowledge that prices may change with 30 days notice
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, documentation, and content, is owned by TigerIdentity and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service according to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared during the relationship. This includes technical specifications, business plans, and pricing information. Confidentiality obligations survive termination for 3 years.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIGERIDENTITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TigerIdentity from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the Service and we will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
14. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
